Competitive salary: $90,000 – $110,000
 Top range reserved for leaders with proven turnaround experience as DON in SNF or full CCRC campuses

Position Overview
The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and accountability of nursing services across the campus. This role partners closely with the Nursing Home Administrator to ensure exceptional resident care and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all nursing operations and clinical programs
  • Hire, develop, coach, and retain nursing staff
  • Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with physicians, residents, and families
  • Participate in resident care planning and quality initiatives
  • Manage departmental budgeting and staffing plans

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • Active RN license in Iowa or Compact RN license
  • Prior success as a Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility
  • Experience with SNF or full CCRC campuses strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated stable work history with measurable results
  • Strong clinical knowledge paired with an approachable leadership style
  • Comfortable holding teams accountable while building trust and engagement
