Executive Director – Assisted Living & Memory Care

Location: Thomasville, GA

A well-established, boutique-style senior living community in Thomasville, GA is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead daily operations across Assisted Living and Memory Care.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a smaller, highly personalized community (~58 units) where you can make a visible impact on culture, team development, and resident experience. The community has been recently renovated while maintaining its historic charm and is known for its strong clinical care—especially within memory care programming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of Assisted Living and Memory Care
  • Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and team members
  • Drive census growth through community outreach and relationship building
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies
  • Maintain high standards of resident care, engagement, and satisfaction
  • Manage budget, expenses, and overall financial performance
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and service-focused culture

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as an Executive Director, Administrator, or similar leadership role in senior living
  • Executive Director license in GA 
  • Strong operational and team leadership experience in Assisted Living and/or Memory Care
  • Proven ability to drive census and build community relationships
  • Solid understanding of regulatory compliance
  • Passion for working with seniors and leading high-performing teams
