This campus offers Skilled Nursing as well as Assisted Living and Memory Care services to area Seniors.
Directors of Assisted Living are responsible for leading and supervising the care program for an Assisted Living/ Memory Care community. This position is ultimately responsible, and accountable, for the health care services received by senior living residents. The person in this job will report to the Director of Nursing.
Specifically, Assisted Living Director job duties include:
- Directing the care program, including implementing new policies and procedures when necessary
- Overseeing hiring, firing, and development of care staff
- Communicating with families, residents, and physicians as needed
- Developing a business plan and budget for the AL/MC unit
- Participating in creating resident care plans and ensuring they are followed
- Ensuring the Assisted Living and Memory Care units are compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations
An ideal candidate will enjoy:
- Excellent pay in the $70K to $110K range, with the top end being reserved for those who have previously led a clinical team of an Assisted Living &/or Memory Care property with stable tenure and a track record of success.

Ideal candidates will bring:
- Registered Nurse license in Iowa (RN in IA) or Compact RN license OR Licensed Practical Nurse in Iowa or Compact LPN license
- Previous success as a clinical leader in Assisted Living or Memory Care with measurable achievements to share
- Stable tenure in prior jobs
- Good balance of clinical knowledge, approachable communication style, strong detail orientation and comfort level with holding staff accountable
- Strong desire to live in southeast Iowa and set down roots with the community there
