Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - Pediatrics
We are seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) to support pediatric patients within an acute care setting in Twin Falls, Idaho. You will deliver evidence-based occupational therapy to infants, children and adolescents with a range of acute and complex needs, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to promote safe participation in daily activities and discharge readiness.
Estimated Pay: $2,646 per week
Key Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive OT assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for paediatric acute care patients.
- Provide therapeutic interventions addressing self-care, feeding, sensory processing, fine motor skills, positioning and functional mobility.
- Recommend and fit adaptive equipment and splints; provide training to patients, families and carers.
- Work with nursing, physicians, PT/SLP and case management to support safe discharge planning and continuity of care.
- Document evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain infection prevention standards and patient safety practices in a hospital environment.
Schedule
- Day Shift - 9hr shifts
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programme.
- State OT licence required (Idaho) in good standing.
- BLS Certification (current) required.
- Minimum of 1 year recent paediatric OT experience; acute care experience strongly preferred.
