RN Staff Development Coordinator
Salary Range: $85,820 – $97,760

Are you a Registered Nurse who thrives in leadership, education, and infection prevention? We’re seeking an RN Staff Development Coordinator to shape clinical excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead our Infection Prevention and Antibiotic Stewardship programs.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead new employee orientation and competency completion
- Design and deliver annual mandatory and ongoing staff education
- Serve as the facility’s Infection Preventionist, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Oversee infection control and antibiotic stewardship programs
- Partner with the Medical Director and leadership team on infection prevention goals and action plans
- Coordinate in?house training programs (NA training, special care units, specialty education)
- Manage employee health programs (immunizations, flu clinics, physicals)
- Track and maintain licensure, certifications, and education records
- Administer the facility’s web?based learning system
- Participate in QAPI and regulatory committees, preparing reports and summaries
- Support hiring efforts and serve as a key clinical resource across departments
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 1–3 years experience in healthcare education, training, or staff development
- 1–3 years nursing supervisory experience (hospital or long?term care preferred)
- Experience with infection control policies and practices
- Current BLS CPR Certification (in?person skills required)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications and Matrix systems
- Flexibility to work varied schedules as needed for training
