What You'll Do

As an RN at Redstone, you'll play a key role in our residents' recovery journey, working closely with physicians, therapists, and the care team to deliver excellent clinical care. Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for short-term rehab patients
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with physician orders and facility policy
  • Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical interventions as needed
  • Monitor and document patient conditions, responding quickly to changes in status
  • Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff on your unit
  • Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapy teams to support patients' rehabilitation goals
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians regarding care plans and progress
  • Participate in care conferences and contribute to MDS/documentation processes
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and all applicable regulations
  • Respond promptly and calmly to emergencies, providing appropriate clinical intervention
  • Support discharge planning to help patients transition safely back home

What We're Looking For

  • Current, active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing, short-term rehab, or long-term care setting preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • A genuine passion for helping patients recover and regain independence
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
