National Church Residences is seeking compassionate and dependable Resident Assistants to join our team at First Community Village, one of Central Ohio's premier senior living communities. In this role, you will provide direct care and support to residents while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene.
• Provide assistance with lifting, repositioning, transferring, and transporting residents as needed.
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident call lights and requests.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or mental condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with measuring and recording vital signs, weights, and other resident information.
• Support restorative care programs, including ambulation, range of motion exercises, and daily exercises.
• Assist residents during meals, including meal setup, feeding assistance, hydration, and monitoring food and fluid intake.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe resident living areas.
• Accurately document care provided in the electronic medical record system.
• Follow infection control guidelines, safety procedures, and resident rights policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, visitors, and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous caregiving, assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare experience preferred.
• STNA/CNA certification preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
