Position Summary
Messiah Lifeways is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as a 2nd Shift Nurse Supervisor. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during the evening shift, providing clinical support to staff, ensuring quality resident care, and serving as a resource for nurses and nursing assistants.
The Nurse Supervisor reports directly to the Director of Nursing (DON) and supervises all nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, during the assigned shift.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM
- No weekends
- No on-call responsibilities
- Every other holiday rotation
- $3.00/hour shift differential
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff throughout the evening shift.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to nurses and CNAs.
- Assist with resident assessments and changes in condition.
- Respond to clinical concerns and support staff with decision-making.
- Coordinate with the off-shift Admissions Supervisor to ensure smooth resident admissions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and best practices.
- Promote quality resident care and a positive work environment.
Qualifications
Required:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience.
- At least one (1) year of experience caring for older adults.
- Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- $40.00–$50.00 per hour, based on experience

Reporting Structure
