Nurse Manager – Skilled Nursing Facility | Northeastern Colorado

A warm, mission-driven Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) nestled in the prairies of rural northeastern Colorado — near the Nebraska and Kansas borders — is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to step into a meaningful Nurse Manager role.

If you're a nurse who thrives in close-knit communities, genuinely loves caring for seniors, and is ready to lead with both heart and expertise, this opportunity was made for you.

About the Role

As Nurse Manager, you'll be a cornerstone of care across the SNF and Assisted Living — supporting residents, guiding staff, and partnering closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assisted Living Nursing Director. Your days will be dynamic, purposeful, and impactful.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating day-to-day resident care
  • Staying current on state and federal regulations for SNF and Assisted Living environments — and ensuring your team does the same
  • Overseeing caregivers and providing on-call leadership support as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records, including resident assessments, clinical documentation, and incident reports
  • Mentoring, training, and evaluating staff to foster a high-performing, compassionate team
  • Serving as a trusted liaison between residents' families, physicians, and staff when conditions change

What You'll Enjoy

  • A supportive, tight-knit team that shows up for the right reasons
  • Competitive pay in the $75K–$93K range (personalized packages available — reach out to discuss)
  • Comprehensive benefits: Health, Dental & Vision Insurance | 401(k) with match | PTO + Holidays | Sick Time | and more
  • A welcoming rural community with a true small-town feel
  • A culture that actively encourages your professional growth

What You'll Bring

  • Active RN license in Colorado or a Compact state
  • Experience in a Long-Term Care, SNF, or similar setting (if not, strong tenure and a detail-oriented, eager-to-learn mindset is welcomed)
  • Prior experience as a clinical manager or supervisor is a plus
  • Bonus skills such as Infection Prevention or Wound Care are a great addition
  • A genuine desire to serve rural seniors and put down roots in a small community
