Mobile Rehabilitation and Wellness is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in Mobile, Alabama. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced therapists and new graduates looking to build their careers in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Our facility is a 120-bed skilled nursing community with a strong rehabilitation program. We care for a combination of long-term care residents and short-term rehabilitation patients, with a high volume of admissions and frequent patient turnover, providing a dynamic and rewarding clinical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services to skilled nursing and rehabilitation patients.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment goals, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Required

  • Current, active, and unrestricted Physical Therapist license issued by the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy.
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited physical therapy program.

Preferred

  • Experience with PointClickCare documentation software.
  • Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus, but not required.

Compensation

  • Hourly Pay: $50.00–$55.00 per hour
