Compensation

  • Hourly Salary Range: $29.92–$44.88 (USD)
  • Salary Range Detail: Min: $29.92 | Mid: $39.21 (10 years of experience) | Max: $44.88 (17 years of experience)
  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 for Days / $15,000 for Nights

Schedule

  • Days (Rotating Weekends): 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
  • Nights (Rotating Weekends): 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

Role Summary

Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients in an acute care setting. You will assess patient needs, develop and implement plans of care, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient status, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support optimal outcomes, patient safety, and a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing assessments, interpret clinical data, and document care accurately and timely.
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments per orders and established protocols.
  • Recognize and respond to changes in condition, escalating care appropriately.
  • Coordinate care transitions, discharge planning, and patient/family education.
  • Maintain infection prevention practices and compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Participate in unit-based initiatives, teamwork, and rotating weekend coverage.

Required Qualifications

  • Acute Care RN experience required (does not need to be Med-Surg-specific).
  • Acute care RN experience must be within the last 3 years, unless the candidate has several years of RN experience, in which case it may be within the last 5 years.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Registered Nurse Diploma.
  • Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required.
  • Compact license holders must obtain a Florida RN license within 60 days of relocation.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong clinical judgment, prioritization, and patient education skills.
  • Experience with electronic health records and interdisciplinary collaboration.
