Compensation
- Salary Range (USD): Min $29.92 / Mid $39.21 (10 years of experience) / Max $44.88 (17 years of experience)
- Sign-on bonus: $10,000 for Days / $15,000 for Nights
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes.
- Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and escalate care appropriately.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders and standards of practice.
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support safe transitions and discharge planning.
- Document care accurately and timely in the medical record.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Support unit safety initiatives, infection prevention practices, and quality improvement goals.
Required Qualifications
- Acute Care RN experience required (does not need to be in Med-Surg).
- Acute Care RN experience must be within the last 3 years, unless the candidate has several years of RN experience, then it may be within the last 5 years.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Registered Nurse Diploma required.
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
