MDS Coordinator (RN or LPN) – Skilled Nursing Facility
LeaderStat has a new opportunity for a permanent MDS Coordinator (RN or LPN) in Waynesville, Ohio!
Job Duties
- Assessing resident needs and coordinating individualized care plans based on assessment results
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure that care plan guidelines are followed
- Ability to accurately determine PDPM categories, HIPPS codes
- Ensuring that the nursing facility is receiving accurate and maximum reimbursement from Medicare and Medicaid
Qualifications
- Successful completion of an MDS training program
- In-depth working knowledge of RAI user manual, as well as PDPM/HIPPS
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN license in Ohio
- Knowledge of current state, federal, and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy and competency skills
