Property Maintenance Director sought for central Washington State area Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
The Maintenance Director at a Skilled Nursing Facility is more than just a person who maintains a physical plant; they're an integral member of the household of an entire senior living community and the go-to person whenever senior residents need help with their property.
When a unit becomes available, the Maintenance Director must see that it is promptly refreshed so it can be perfect for a new senior to move into.
Beyond the usual building maintenance knowledge, an individual in this job must learn and follow the State and Federal regulations regarding SNFs so that when Surveyors come to assess the safety of the property, they are able to quickly see the community is well maintained and that essential safety measures are followed and documented appropriately.

- Good pay in the $29/hour to $37/hour range, with the top end being reserved for one who has previous experience and track record of success in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting

Ideal candidates will bring:
- Previous stable tenure in Maintenance Director or Maintenance Manager jobs
- Any experience in SNF or Senior Living/ Assisted Living settings a big plus
- Sense of urgency with getting tasks completed
- Kind demeanor, especially in communicating with senior residents and their loved ones
- Experience in mentoring and encouraging a team or having anyone report up to you
