A faith-based, not-for-profit senior living community in Jackson, Michigan is seeking a compassionate, mission-driven Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead our skilled nursing and long-term care operations.

This leadership role is ideal for an experienced administrator who values servant leadership, person-centered care, operational excellence, and a commitment to honoring the dignity and well-being of older adults.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the nursing home community
  • Ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance
  • Lead, mentor, and support department leaders and staff
  • Promote a positive, mission-focused workplace culture
  • Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners
  • Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and census development
  • Ensure compliance with Michigan licensing requirements and CMS regulations
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and resident satisfaction goals
  • Collaborate with organizational leadership to advance the community’s mission and vision

Qualifications

  • Current Michigan Nursing Home Administrator license required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations
  • Proven leadership, communication, and team development skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care
  • Experience in faith-based and/or not-for-profit senior care environments preferred
