Interim Regional Nurse (RN) - Skilled Nursing Facility

The Regional Nurse for this interim role is responsible for assisting administrative operations with compliance and regulatory processes of the nursing department to assure that each resident receives the highest quality of care so that they will achieve the maximum level of function in accordance with their comprehensive plan of care.

Job Duties
- Assist the Nursing Home Administrator with audits and policy around compliance and regulatory processes of the nursing department
- Develops and implements nursing service objectives, policies, and procedures to maintain quality care and compliance
- Oversee and evaluate nursing personnel
- Ensure compliance in all areas, including in documentation and resident care plans
Qualifications
- At least five years of experience as a DON in a long-term care setting, preferrable two years of Regional Nurse experience in skilled nursing and long term care.
- Ability to commit to a 60-90 day contract at a single site Monday - Friday.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state assigned or in an eligible Nurse Compact State
- Expertise in writing and evaluating policy, survey preparedness and plans of correction in Illinois
- Up-to-date clinical compliance
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR via American Heart Association (AHA)
- Two-step TB test
- Physical exam within the last 12 months
