We are seeking an experienced Interim Nurse Manager to support an Acute Care Medical-Surgical unit in Albany, Georgia. This is a 26-week interim contract assignment with a weekly pay range of USD $3,725.60. Candidates must meet a strict 75-mile radius requirement.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership for a Medical-Surgical nursing unit, ensuring safe, efficient, patient-centered care.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and unit throughput while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
- Support and coach nursing staff; address performance concerns and promote professional development.
- Drive patient experience initiatives, including monitoring and improving performance metrics such as Press Ganey.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and operational goals.
- Maintain regulatory readiness and adherence to hospital policies, safety practices, and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted RN license (state eligibility to practice in Georgia required).
- 8–10 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience (preferred).
- Proven management experience leading a Medical-Surgical unit, including staffing and day-to-day operations.
- Demonstrated experience improving patient experience outcomes, including familiarity with Press Ganey reporting and action planning.
- Experience managing or supporting operations for a 25–30 bed acute care unit.
- Ability to commit to the full 26-week assignment and comply with the 75-mile radius restriction.
Preferred
- Previous interim/contract leadership experience in an Acute Care environment.
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and change management skills in fast-paced clinical settings.
