Interim Infection Control RN – Skilled Nursing Facility

We’re looking for an interim Infection Control RN to serve as a clinical expert in a skilled nursing facility in MI.

As a travel RN with LeaderStat, you’ll get the opportunity to meet healthcare professionals from all over the nation, sharpen your clinical skillset, and lead an interdisciplinary team, all while providing top-of-the-line care to residents.

Job Duties

  • Establishing infection control standards and procedures
  • Educating staff on how to prevent and control infections
  • Inform state and county organizations of any reportable infections and/or disease outbreak
  • Ensure quality care for all residents

Job Requirements/Qualifications
  • At least two years of clinical experience as an RN in a long-term care setting
  • Two years of recent infection control experience
  • Must be a certified Infection Control Specialist, including successful completion of the CIC exam
  • Active RN license in the state assigned, or in an eligible Nurse Compact State
  • Possess empathy and passion for serving others
  • Serve as a leader and a trusted resource to other healthcare team members
  • Up-to-date certifications/compliance
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) via the American Heart Association
    • Two-step TB test
    • Physical exam within the last 12 months
