Interim Controller
ABOUT THE JOBWe are seeking a motivated Controller for a 13-week assignment at an Acute Care Hospital in KS
Weekly Compensation Package up to $3320 (includes a non-taxed stipend for meals). All travel expenses covered during the assignment period. Up to to two (2) trips home covered per month.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with Controller-level experience strongly preferred
- Healthcare/hospital accounting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
- Experience overseeing general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable reporting to senior leadership
- Experience managing or directing accounting/finance staff
- Strong Excel skills and experience with financial/accounting systems
- Experience with audits, compliance, and preparation of supporting documentation
- Ability to quickly step into an organization, assess current processes, identify issues, and provide continuity during an interim assignment
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Previous HCA experience required
