Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse (RN or LPN in WA) needed for their Health Services Director (HSD, AL DON, RSD) role in the northern suburbs of Seattle, Washington for Senior Living community providing Assisted Living and Memory Care

We seek an experienced clinical leader within the senior living arena who has previous leadership or management experience and strong awareness of State and Federal regulations for Assisted Living & Memory Care.

Health Services Director Job Description
Health Services Directors (HSD/ Assisted Living Director of Nursing, Resident Services Director, RSD) are responsible for leading and supervising delivery of care to senior living residents. This position is ultimately responsible, and accountable, for the nursing care received by residents. This role reports to the Executive Director.

Specifically, Health Services Director job duties include:

  • Directing the care program
  • Assessing incoming residents to ensure they're an appropriate fit
  • Assessing current residents should care needs change
  • Overseeing hiring, firing, and development of care staff
  • Communicating with families, residents, and physicians as needed
  • Overseeing scheduling/ Call offs
  • Participating in creating resident care plans and ensuring they are followed
  • Ensuring the care team is compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Prioritizing in the face of interruptions and ensuring all tasks get completed 


Health Services Director Job Requirements
Candidates must be nurses, either RN or LPN, in Washington State. 

Health Services Director jobs require a candidate who has care leadership experience, a strong understanding of senior living standards of care, and federal and state regulations. A high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and compassionate leadership qualities are must-haves. Candidates must be able to think critically, and adapt quickly to new situations.


Ideal candidates will enjoy:
•           Good pay in the $110K to $125K range, with the top end reserved for nurses with stable previous job history, and a track record of success in Survey, staff Education and Mentoring, and Resident Satisfaction

Ideal candidates will bring:
•           Washington Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse 
•           Experience in a supervisory level clinical role preferred
•           A track record of success in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Senior Living setting
•           A self-starter attitude and a drive to do things well
•           Clear & open communication style
•           Great ability to stay organized and manage time well in the face of many distractions throughout an average day


Salary Range: $110,000 to $125,000
