Executive Director - Senior Living

Are you a seasoned senior living professional with a proven track record of census growth and team leadership? We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Director to lead our vibrant Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Emeryville, CA, nestled along the scenic San Francisco Bay.

Position Summary:

As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for overall operations, compliance, staff leadership, and strategic planning. A key focus will be driving and maintaining census growth, ensuring financial sustainability, and creating and cultivating a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strong leadership and direction for the daily operations of the community.

• Drive census growth through strategic marketing and outreach efforts.

• Oversee compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements.

• Manage budgeting, financial reporting, and operational efficiency.

• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing staff.

• Foster a culture of care, excellence, and accountability.

• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and local partners.
• Bring fresh and innovative ideas for building and enhancing the community offerings.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years as an Executive Director or Administrator in Assisted Living and/or Memory Care.

• Proven success in census growth and occupancy management.

• RCFE Administrator Certification required.

• Strong financial acumen and operational management skills.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
