LeaderStat is partnering with a premier senior living provider in Adrian, MI who is looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Education Nurse to lead clinical education and staff development initiatives within the community. The Education Nurse is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that ensure high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and ongoing professional development for nursing and caregiving staff.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver clinical training programs for nursing and caregiving staff

  • Conduct orientation and onboarding for new clinical team members

  • Provide ongoing competency assessments and skills validation

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to senior care

  • Educate staff on infection prevention, medication management, dementia care, fall prevention, and emergency procedures

  • Stay current with best practices in geriatric nursing and senior care

  • Partner with the Director of Nursing and leadership team to identify educational needs

  • Maintain accurate records of training attendance, certifications, and competencies

  • Support quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for staff

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (REQUIRED)

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in senior living, long-term care, or skilled nursing

  • Prior experience in staff education, training, or precepting preferred

  • Strong knowledge of geriatric care principles and regulatory requirements

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to motivate, mentor, and support clinical staff
