LeaderStat is partnering with an established skilled nursing provider in Baltimore, MD who is seeking a stellar Director of Nursing for their community. Offering long-term recovery, and rehabilitation services focused on the residents' emotional and physical well-being, they need an experienced nursing leader with a passion for long-term care and a strong background in clinical operations and staff management.

The DON will:

  • Lead and manage daily nursing operations

  • Ensure top-quality resident care and regulatory compliance

  • Oversee staffing, training, and performance of the nursing team

  • Manage clinical documentation and care planning

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct daily clinical operations following all guidelines

  • Create and implement nursing policies and procedures

  • Maintain appropriate staffing across shifts

  • Evaluate and support nursing personnel

  • Monitor care plan adherence and documentation accuracy

Qualifications

  • RN license in Maryland (active and in good standing)

  • Minimum 2 years as DON in a long-term care setting

  • Leadership and staff development experience

  • Strong operational, quality, and compliance knowledge

  • Tech-savvy with excellent communication skills

  • Empathetic, resident-focused mindset
