Overview:
LeaderStat is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Emergency Department (ED) for a reputable Acute Care Hospital in Kansas City, MO. This leader will oversee daily operations, drive performance improvement, and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care within the Emergency Department.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of recent Director-level experience in an Acute Care Emergency Department (Required)

  • May consider a strong ED Manager currently running day-to-day operations as a Director.

  • Proven track record of strong metrics, performance improvement, and staff development

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred

  • Current state licensure and active certifications

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, implement process improvements, and foster a culture of excellence

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all clinical and operational functions of the Emergency Department

    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient outcomes, throughput, and satisfaction

    • Collaborate with hospital leadership to achieve departmental and organizational goals

    • Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards

    • Mentor and develop staff to promote engagement, retention, and professional growth
