Corporate Director of Revenue Cycle - Novi, MI

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Director of Revenue Cycle to lead and optimize revenue cycle operations across our skilled nursing facilities in Michigan and Ohio. This executive-level role is responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing all aspects of the revenue cycle—from admissions and payer verification through billing, collections, and reimbursement. This is an in-office role in Novi, MI (no travel required).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for revenue cycle operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities
  • Oversee billing, collections, accounts receivable, Medicaid/Medicare reimbursement, and managed care processes
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer guidelines
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement process improvements to maximize cash flow and minimize denials
  • Collaborate with facility administrators, finance teams, and clinical leadership to align revenue cycle strategies with operational goals
  • Lead, mentor, and develop revenue cycle teams across multiple locations
  • Manage relationships with third-party billing vendors and consultants, as applicable
  • Oversee audits, respond to payer inquiries, and ensure timely resolution of billing issues
  • Stay current on reimbursement changes, regulatory updates, and industry best practices

Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management and billing in skilled nursing or long term care is required.
  • Management experience - this role will oversee 20+ corporate employees
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or related field is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, PDPM, and managed care reimbursement models
  • Proven track record of improving revenue cycle performance and reducing AR days
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel regularly within Michigan and Ohio

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in skilled nursing billing in Michigan and Ohio specifically
  • Familiarity with Point Click Care
