Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician – Days (4x10s)

Position Summary

The Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician assists physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiac arrhythmias in the Cath/EP Lab. This role focuses on caring for patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, and EP devices and ablations.

Schedule:

  • Day shift – 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week

  • No call required

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program

  • Minimum 2 years of electrophysiology experience with knowledge of EP and Ablation devices (acute care experience strongly preferred)

  • BLS and ACLS certification required

  • One of the following certifications required:

  • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)

  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)

  • Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech)

  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
