What You’ll Be Responsible For
As the Assistant Wellness Director / Memory Care Director, you’ll partner closely with community leadership to support clinical excellence while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Memory Care neighborhood.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support overall wellness and nursing operations within the community
- Lead and oversee the Memory Care program with a resident-centered approach
- Assist with clinical oversight including assessments, care planning, and resident monitoring
- Coach, mentor, and develop caregiving and nursing staff to ensure quality care and accountability
- Build strong relationships with residents and families through communication and trust
- Help maintain compliance with state regulations, policies, and survey readiness standards
- Monitor documentation accuracy and support quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary departments to create a positive resident experience
- Respond to resident care needs with professionalism, empathy, and sound clinical judgment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in Memory Care, Assisted Living, or senior living leadership
- LPN license in Pennsylvania
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support teams
- Knowledge of dementia care, resident engagement, and person-centered programming
- Experience with compliance, documentation, and clinical oversight
- Organized, adaptable, and calm under pressure
- Team-oriented leadership style with a hands-on approach to resident care
