Pain Specialists of America (“PSA”) is a Texas-based, multi-site comprehensive pain management organization with 15+ locations. We are seeking experienced professionals to support our continued growth and help achieve our strategic and operational objectives.

The ASC Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership, operational management, and financial performance of the ambulatory surgery center. This role ensures the delivery of safe, efficient, high-quality patient care while maintaining full regulatory and accreditation compliance.

The Administrator works closely with the Governing Board, Medical Director, physicians, and nursing leadership to ensure clinical excellence, strong patient outcomes, and operational efficiency. This role is also responsible for ensuring all licensing, accreditation, and regulatory requirements are met and maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, financial performance, and strategic planning of the surgery center
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols that ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality of care
  • Identify and execute cost reduction and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Monitor patient care quality and escalate clinical concerns to appropriate team members
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on staffing, employee relations, and policy development
  • Hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff performance in accordance with organizational standards
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative work environment
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies and external regulatory requirements, including infection control, medication management, patient confidentiality (HIPAA), emergency preparedness, safety protocols, and professional licensure
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation bodies, including Medicare, AAAHC, DEA, DSHS, and state/federal requirements
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with physicians, staff, vendors, and leadership
  • Oversee quality improvement initiatives, including data analysis, benchmarking, and outcomes tracking
  • Manage credentialing, privileging, and re-credentialing of providers
  • Monitor inventory control, supply utilization, and case costing
  • Address patient feedback and support resolution of service-related concerns
  • Promote a positive organizational image both internally and externally
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant clinical environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $140,000 – $160,000 annually
  • Performance Bonus: 5% – 20% KPI-based annual bonus

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Health Administration (MHA) preferred
  • 3+ years of healthcare management experience required
  • Strong ASC and/or clinical leadership background (RN preferred)
  • Experience leading teams, improving operations, and maintaining compliance in a surgical or outpatient setting
